Michael Teston, PT, is the owner and operator of Touchstone Physical Therapy at Breckenridge Village in Little Rock. Michael opened his private practice clinic in 2000 after working for several years with Health South. He wanted a clinic where he could treat patients on a more personalized level. A clinic where he would be free to treat his patients with evidence based and proven techniques in a comfortable clinic. Michael is highly trained in orthopedic manual therapy with over 22 years of clinical experience. He has earned a Masters of Orthopedic Manual Therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute. Michael states his staff is proud of the service they offer. They work hard to provide the best physical therapy experience possible. Their patients consistently rate their service as excellent with outcomes that met or exceed their expectations. Michael’s wife, Alicia, helps keep the business side of things running smoothly. Nancy Orpin is another of his faithful employees that handles things such as collections and billing. Michael has served for many years on the Board of Directors and continues to be an active member of our group. Searcy Physical Therapy 2921 Hawkins Drive Searcy, AR 72143 (501) 268-2513 Searcy Physical Therapy and its satellite, Beebe Physical Therapy, are owned and operated by Andrew Abraham, PT. Andrew is our newly elected member at large on Rehab Net’s Board of Directors. Searcy Physical Therapy is mainly an orthopedic practice serving everyone from athletes to geriatrics. Along with regular physical therapy, they offer manual therapy, work conditioning and orthoses fabrication. Andrew states that his staff believes in the hands on approach of care. “We feel that patients should be treated like loved ones and we place a strong emphasis on listening and serving our patients. It is my opinion that patients are frustrated with being ignored and rushed in and out of medical offices. We feel the patients not only deserve skilled care but also compassionate care.” Andrew proudly states that he has been blessed with a staff that are a competent and caring group who really live out the mission of the clinic. Andrew shared the story of a patient that entered his office for treatment after falling four stories down an elevator shaft landing on a concrete slab while working at a construction site. He began his treatment at Searcy Physical Therapy in a wheelchair with not only a lot of physical issues but emotional issues as well. Andrew states, “We have been able to help him gain some normalcy with regards to function (he is now ambulating with a straight cane) and we were able to work with his case manager and get him some emotional counseling as well.” It is important when treating patients to treat the whole person. Andrew and his staff state they are committed to raising the standard for physical therapy in Searcy and Beebe by setting a high standard of care and providing results. |
